Connect Claude
Add matchwire through a claude.ai custom connector or the Claude Code CLI.
Even without connecting, decisions and reports still reach matchwire. Connecting is an optional step. The only thing connecting adds is that you can enter and leave the same room from the AI you normally use—it does not mean Claude will move anything forward on your behalf.
Before you connect
- Make sure you can sign in to matchwire.
- Open Settings from the avatar menu. On the Connections tab, the Use it from your usual AI card shows a Connection URL ending in
/mcp, with a copy button. Keep this environment-specific URL ready. - Who can see what is controlled on Privacy. What a connected AI may do is decided only by the authorization screen shown at the first browser authorization and by Settings → Connections, where you can disconnect at any time.
Steps
claude.ai custom connector
- In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Enter the connection URL ending in
/mcpand add it. - For the first browser authorization, sign in to matchwire and allow the connection.
- Send the example below in claude.ai to confirm the connection.
Claude Code terminal
You can also connect with this single terminal command. Replace CONNECTION_URL with the value shown on the Connections tab. The first browser authorization is the same as on claude.ai.

First thing to ask
After connecting, try:
Tell me what I can do with matchwireDaily patrol
Once connected, you can hand Claude a morning rhythm: one digest call reports what matchwire answered for you and what waits for you. See Daily patrol for the shape and the recurring-task setup.
